Forum Guidelines

In order to maintain a happy, welcoming, and peaceful community, we have a few rules in place. These will be enforced regularly by myself and any volunteer moderators that may assume position in the future.
Please be sure to read through these rules and follow them at all times. The rules are not extensive.

  • 1. Always remain respectful of other members. Personal attacks, flaming, disrespect, and disruptive posts are not permitted. Additionally, do not slander or condescendingly discuss other pet forums or websites on the internet.
  • 2. Inappropriate language that is not suitable for children will not be permitted. Our site is open to the public as young as the age of 13 years.
  • 3. Advertising and/or spamming is not permitted. This includes posting links to external sites for the sole reason of gaining traffic. This rule specifically prohibits links to competing websites (other pet forums) on the internet.
  • 4. Passionate threads regarding topics such as religion, politics, and other personal beliefs usually result in angered members in an in-depth dispute. Please keep such threads reserved and calm, or they will be closed.

Other miscellaneous guidelines:
  • 1. When posting images, ensure that you have resized your image to no larger than 600x600 pixels in size. If you do not know how to resize an image, please seek assistance in the Support Forum.
  • 2. Please post threads in the appropriate section. If you are unsure where your thread belongs, please seek advice in the Support Forum.
  • 3. We (the Forum Staff) hold the right to deem any of your posts as inappropriate and not acceptable, on a case-by-case basis, even if it is not in direct violation of a rule. In such an event, we hold the right to edit or remove your post from the forum. While we usually will give notice in such an event, we are not obligated to do so.
  • 4. At any time, we hold the right to restrict or ban your user account if we deem it necessary. Usually this is a result of a rule violation, but it can be done on a case-by-case basis.
  • 5. We reserve the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the community dictate to preserve the smooth operation of this forum.
